About Abersten
The law firm of Abersten was formed on 1 January 2000 through a merger of three law firms with offices from Örnsköldsvik in the north to Stockholm in the south. Since then three additional law firms have merged with us. Currently we have nine offices, ranging from Umeå in the north to Gävle in the south.
In our practice, we unite tradition dating as far back as the early 1900s with stringent standards of legal expertise and the utilization of the resources inherent in modern Information Technology. All lawyers and staff take part in our specialist groups (currently there are five groups).
We are primarily oriented towards business law, with particular emphasis on company law and agent law, as well as receivership and other insolvency law, but are also active within the fields of property law, contract law, tort law, agency law, IT-law, family law and criminal litigation.
